Heavy face brick walls anchor the house to the hill side at the rear. This solid element houses the more enclosed wet areas and is based around a shady courtyard and pond. Lighter, timber framed and clad walls fan out from this core, these walls focus views through floor to ceiling glass walls in key rooms.

Designed for a young family with 2 children, this house seeks to makes the most of a beautiful location.  The large kitchen is the heart of the house engaging with the courtyard to the rear while being afforded views around and down the valley. The parents bedroom is has an adjacent deck with outdoor bath. Here it is up among trees shielded by the walls of the house.
